The empowerment behind Tina’s paintings is that "everything is connected". She believes strongly that things happen for a reason, and this also applies when the paintbrush is put to work. However, for Tina most important of all in life is love and light, which she hopes shines through in her work. When it comes to interior design, she believes that art, paintings, colour, texture and well-considered lighting, are the most effective elements for creating an individual and stunning home.
Many things in life inspire Tina, but in her art there are strong links to her previous work experiences. Early on in her career as a tour guide for a Scandinavian company, she experienced the joy and excitement of learning about different cultures and countries, as well as the importance of friendship.
She then moved on to become an award-winning interior designer in London after graduating from the KLC School of Design in Chelsea. During her 12 years in London, she built up a successful interior design business while also teaching on a freelance basis.
By opening the “Work of Heart” Gallery on her return to Denmark, Tina believes that her life has come full circle. Through her art she brings to life the beauty of her experiences.
I am an interior designer. I graduated from KLC School of Design in Chelsea, London, where I lived and had my own interior design company for more than 10 years. In addition to working with private clients, I also taught at KLC on a freelance basis. For a period I was responsibe for the Certificate courses, the Kelly Hoppen philosophy courses and later on I gave inspirational lectures.
